Urzeczywistnienie prawa do pokoju zobowiązaniem na przyszłość

Abstrakt

This paper addresses the issue of the right to peace as a contemporary category of human rights from a reflective and axiological perspective, within the context of globalization and transnational threats. The analysis focuses on the interrelationship between the right to peace, human dignity, justice and solidarity, as well as on the distinction between "negative peace" and "positive peace." It also outlines the normative background of the right to peace through a concise discussion of selected international legal instruments and United Nations standards (soft law), treated as reference points for the human rights debate. The paper identifies key barriers to the realization of the right to peace in the twenty-first century, including armed conflicts, terrorism, forced migration, climate change, cyber threats and disinformation, and highlights the role of education and a culture of peace in shaping attitudes conducive to its implementation. In conclusion, it is demonstrated that the right to peace has a complex and binding character, as its protection constitutes a prerequisite for the effective enjoyment of other human rights.
